The short version: use Rooted Stories to track your plants, keep your account secure, and remember that growing advice in the app is general guidance, not a guarantee.

Using Rooted Stories

Rooted Stories is a notebook for tracking seeds, cuttings, plants and bonsai. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Your account

Give a real email address you can access, and keep your password private.
You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
You can delete your account at any time from More → Account.

Your content

Your notes and photos stay yours. You give us permission to store, copy and display them only as needed to run the app for you (for example, saving them and showing them on your devices). Only add photos and content you have the right to use.

Growing guidance

Schedules, soak times, chill periods, depths and other tips are general guidance drawn from public horticultural sources and seed packets. Results depend on your seeds, climate and care. Always follow your packet's instructions first, and check local rules about plants that may be invasive where you live. AI answers (when available) can be wrong; treat them as suggestions.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no trying to access other people's accounts or data, overloading or attacking the service, or using it for anything illegal.

Free trial, purchases and subscriptions

Rooted Stories is currently free while it's being tested. When paid plans arrive, the price, what's included, and how trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds work will be shown clearly before you pay, and those details will become part of these terms.

Changes and availability

We're actively building Rooted Stories, so features will change. We'll try to keep it running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own backups with More → Backup & export.

Limits of liability

Rooted Stories is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost plants, lost data, or indirect damages from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.

Ending use

You can stop using Rooted Stories at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
